Abstract:
To provide a caliper capable of easily attaching an energizing member which is energized, for example, so as to separate two break pads from a disc rotor.SOLUTION: In a caliper, an energizing member includes, for example, an attachment part which is attached to a bridge part, and an energizing part which is interposed between two brake pads and separates two brake pads from each other in the axial direction by being elastically compressed in an axial direction in such a state that at least two brake pads are pressed onto a disc rotor by two pressing members and by being elastically stretched in such a state that two brake pads are not pushed against the disc rotor by two pressing members. Therein, the energizing member can be mounted in such a state that the energizing part is elastically compressed between two brake pads from the radial direction outer side via an opening part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
