To provide a call device capable of suppressing howling and improving the sound quality at the same time.
The call device is equipped with a call receiver 1 for transducing into voices an audio signal which is an electric signal made by transducing voices, a call transmitter 2 for transducing voices into an audio signal, and an input/output portion 3 for amplifying the audio signal output by the call transmitter 2 and outputting the amplified signal to the outside while amplifying an audio signal input from the outside and inputting the amplified signal to the call receiver 1. The call transmitter 2 comprises a sound receiving portion 5 for outputting sound pressures of incoming voices, their time differential values, and spatial differential values of the sound pressures in respective axis directions of a two-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system and an audio signal generating portion 6 for performing a preset dead-point formation processing by a spatio-temporal gradient method by using the sound pressures, time differential values, and spatial differential values output by the sound receiving portion 5, creating an audio signal to form a sensitivity-minimizing dead point in the position of the call receiver 1, and outputting the signal to the input/output portion 3.
