PURPOSE: To confirm on the spot the state of register and the contents of register even if registering is by means of a voice, by providing on the side of a microphone a display device to display the contents of recognition when a voice recognition device has succeeded in recognizing a voice.

CONSTITUTION: A voice register outcome display portion 6 is provided at a position to which a passenger in the vicinity of hall call register buttons 3 can easily bring his or her mouth close. The voice input signal 5a of a microphone is inputted into a voice recognition device 7. The voice recognition device 7 is registered with a number of voice patterns beforehand in its inside, and takes in the voice input signal 5a, and at the same time decides whether or not an inputted voice coincides with a registered voice pattern. When the two coincide with each other, a call register permit signal 7a is given to a call register device 8, and when they do not coincide with each other, a nonrecognition signal 7b is given to a display output device 9. As a result, a person can register his or her own voice and can utilize it without bewilderment.
