Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a terminal having no telephone directory display, on the terminal, caller information corresponding to a call origination source telephone number of an incoming call at the timing at which the incoming call is received.SOLUTION: A caller information provision device to be connected, through a network, to a user terminal comprising a telephone communication function comprises: personal telephone directory storage means in which personal telephone directory information is stored; shared telephone directory storage means in which shared telephone directory information is stored; intra-organization telephone directory storage means in which intra-organization telephone directory information is stored; search means for searching, when a telephone call origination signal including a call origination source telephone number has been originated from a call origination source terminal to the user terminal, the personal telephone directory information, the shared telephone directory information, or the intra-organization telephone directory information on the basis of the call origination source telephone number; and transmission means that acquires, from telephone directory information from which a telephone number equal to the call origination source telephone number is detected by the search means, setting information corresponding to the telephone number and transmits caller information including the setting information to the user terminal.
