To provide a refined and novel calligraphy ornament work with a brush-painted calligraphy engraved faithfully on the rear face of a transparent glass sheet.

A brush-painted calligraphy 3X-duplicated paper 6 is laid over the rear face of a transparent glass sheet 2 of a specified wall thickness in such a manner that the brush-painted calligraphy 3X appears to be correctly oriented as viewed from the front face of the glass sheet 2. Further, a transparent tacky sheet 7 is attached to the rear face of the glass sheet 2 in such a way that a copying paper 6 is covered with the sheet 7, so that the copying paper 6 is fixed so as to not allow its positional shift. In addition, the form of the brush-painted calligraphy is engraved 4 faithfully as per the power and the stroke of a brush from the rear side of the transparent tacky sheet 7 using a sand blast device. Thus the brush-painted calligraphy 3 is represented on the rear face of the glass sheet 2.
