Abstract:
To provide a calling device capable of reducing burden on a patient's call operation and also reducing burden on a setting operator.SOLUTION: The calling device includes: a sensor pad 1 which incorporates a capacitance sensor 13 and outputs a signal that changes according to a distance to a patient's thumb F or a position of the thumb; and a calling signal generator 2 for outputting a calling signal by determining that a calling operation is executed when a level of a signal output from the sensor pad 1 exceeds a first threshold.
