Abstract:

PURPOSE:To effectuate good lubrication, by providing a lubricating oil reservoir in a rotary portion on which a cam itself is mounted and by providing guide passages for causing lubricating oil in the reservoir to ooze out onto a slip contact surface by the centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cam 4, which is supported by a frame 22, is provided with a lubricating mechanism 23, which causes lubricating oil to ooze out onto both the sides of a guide rod 5 to lubricate the slip contact portions of the rod and the rollers 6a, 6b of a roller unit 7. The lubricating mechanism 23 comprises a cylindrical oil reservoir 25 defined in the cylindrical part 24 of the cylindrical cam 4, guide holes 27 extending through the wall of the cylindrical part 24 and annular parts 26a, 26b on both the sides of the guide rod 5 and located along the circumference to connect the interior and the exterior of the oil reservoir 25 to each other, and an oil supply hole 28 provided in a rotary shaft 3b to supply the lubricating oil into the reservoir. As a result, the lubricating oil 1 in the reservoir 25 is conducted to both the sides of the guide rod 5 through the guide holes 27.
