PURPOSE: To provide a cam die for press capable of making the vertical operation of a lifter small and eliminating the lifter can according to circumstances thereby resolving a problem caused by a gripper and the lifter.

CONSTITUTION: A cam die 1 for press is provided with a cam slide 3 having a cam surface 2 inclined in the obliquely downward direction, a supporting means 5 for supporting to be freely movable the cam slide 3 in the direction A on an upper die 4, and a spring means 6 for energizing the cam slide 3 to the initial position. This device is provided with a cam driver 8 having the cam surface 7 inclined in the obliquely upward direction and being in surface contact with the cam surface 2 of the cam slide 3 to be freely slidable, and a hanging means 9 for regulating the movement of the cam driver 8 in the lateral direction B and hanging the cam driver 8 to be freely vertically movable to the upper die.
