Abstract:

To solve a problem that it is necessary to form a cured part and an uncured part on a support shaft, a clamping process is added, and a producing cost is increased in a rocker arm preventing turning of the support shaft by clamping an end surface of the support shaft in order to be pressed onto a peripheral wall surface of a support hole after inserting the support shaft through the support hole formed on a support wall.

A large diameter part 12 is formed in the support hole 6 at a part corresponding to a load region of the support shaft 8 so as to insert the support shaft 8. Therefore, damage of the load region accompanied by insertion of the support shaft 8 is prevented, a needle-like roller 9 is smoothly rolled on an outer peripheral surface of the support shaft 8 in the load region, and curing treatment is applied for all surface of the support shaft 8 and a predetermined hardness is set so that damage can be prevented even when the roller is rolled. Thus, processing is facilitated and the producing cost of the rocker arm 1 can be reduced.
