To provide a cam follower of simple structure which can be inexpensively manufactured.

In this cam follower A, an outer ring 2 is constituted by a pair of sheet metal-made outer ring constitutional materials 4, 5, between inner/ outer rings 1, 2, a roller 3 is interposed, a shaft 6 is press fitted to the inner ring 1. The outer ring constitutional material 4 on an internal diametric side is a cylindrical shape having a bottom plate part 4b, the outer ring constitutional material 5 on an external diametric side is a cylindrical shape having a flange 5b. An almost total unit of these cylindrical parts 4a, 5a is fixedly superposed in a press fit condition. In the bottom plate part 4b of the outer ring 2, a countersink-shaped protruded part 7 swollen to the outside is provided in a central part.
