CONSTITUTION: This cam member 1 is a cylindrical cam member having three cam surfaces 31, 32 and 33 on a cylindrical body 2. In such a case, the inner peripheral surface of this cylindrical body 2 is a cam setting surface and the respective cam surfaces 31 to 33 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 2. The cam setting surface is a circular conical surface of a vertex of 28. The respective cam surfaces 31 to 33 have overlapping parts which overlap in a circumferential direction. The angle γ is so set that the distances in the radial direction from the forming positions of the respective cam surfaces overlapping on each other in these overlapping parts to the central axis 6 vary and that the respective cam surfaces in the overlapping parts do not overlap in the radial direction.
