Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely lubricate a pair of gears without increasing the capacity of a lubricating oil pump when the rotation of a crankshaft is transmitted to one of both cam shafts on the upper surface of a cylinder head and the rotation is transmitted from this cam shaft to the other cam shaft through the pair of gears.
CONSTITUTION: A lubricating oil reservation recessed part 18 for lubricating oil after lubricating a bearing part 3 and an oil passage for introducing lubricating oil in this lubricating oil recessed part to the side face of one of a pair of gears 9 are provided in the bearing part 3 for one of both cam shafts 5.
