Abstract:
To provide a cam shaft manufacturing device capable of simplifying a manufacturing process of a cam shaft product and shortening a tact time required for the manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A cam shaft manufacturing device 11 includes: a first robot 31 for conveying a semifinished product work 21a to a mounting stage 29; a second robot 37 for setting a pin 23 to a pin holding jig 33 and setting a pulsar plate 27 to a plate holding jig 35; a work restraint device 39 performing a motion of restraining the semifinished product work 21a conveyed to the mounting stage 29 by the first robot 31 to a prescribed centering position 22; and a press-fitting device 41 for press-fitting the pin 23 held by the pin holding jig 33 to a hole portion 21e provided on a one-side shaft portion 21c1 and press-fitting a through hole 27a provided on the pulsar plate 27 held by the plate holding jig 35 to another-side shaft portion 21c2, in a state of restraining the semifinished product work 21a at the centering position 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
