Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam shaft which can eliminate the necessity of the step of forming a groove for fitting a snap ring, the necessity of a separate spring guide pin for a gear part 4, and the necessity of the step of press-fitting the guide pin.
SOLUTION: A resin cam shaft body 1 in which a shaft part 2 having a cam part is integrally incorporated with a gear part 4 is assembled thereto with a release lever 6 and a return spring 9 which are decompression components, and a bushing 7 for preventing a release lever 6 from coming off, is welded to the outer periphery of the shaft part 2 while a spring holding means 7b for preventing a return spring 7 from coming off is integrally incorporated with the bushing 7.
