Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce abrasion while securing engine performance by increasing/ decreasing a rate of change for a radius of curvature for setting it.
CONSTITUTION: A radius of curvature in a minimum radius of curvature section in a cam profile of a cam is set so that a contact pressure per a unit area with a contact face in a driven body touching the cam profile is reduced, and a rate of change for a radius of curvature in the minimum radius of curvature section is increased/decreased so as to be set.
