PURPOSE: To make it possible to use one cam for training of flection muscles and extension muscles of the arms and the legs by providing a structure of a power transmitting member wherein starting points of a guide surface shifting from a first guide surface to a second guide surface are communicated each other, in a rehabilitation tool and the like.
CONSTITUTION: On an outer peripheral surface of a plate cam 1, two guide surfaces 3, 5 are provided to a rotation center 2, starting points 4, 6 thereof are provided on one side to the rotation center 2 and separated each other by a prescribed distance, and the starting points 4, 6 are joined through an arc-shaped connection surface 7. When a power transmitting member composed of such as a rope or a chain is supported at the starting point 4, a cam 1 rotates in a counterclockwise direction to move the power transmitting member to the guide surface 3 eccentrically formed, and to actuate a required force on a link of a training tool. The force changes according to the distance between the guide surface 3 and the rotation center 2. When the link is intended to move in an opposite direction, the cam 1 is rotated to move the power transmitting member to the starting point 6 of the guide surface 5, and then if the cam 1 is rotated in a clockwise direction, the link is move in the opposite direction.
