Abstract:
To make a camera system having a camera body and an interchangeable lens more convenient to use.
The camera system 1 includes an interchangeable lens unit 2 and the camera body 3. The camera body 3 includes a zoom operation lever, and the interchangeable lens unit 2 is compatible with electric zoom and includes a zoom operation lever. A body microcomputer 10 of the camera body 3 assigns a function of a zoom operation member for optical zoom to either of the body-side zoom operation part and the lens-side zoom operation part.
