Abstract:
To provide a camera changeover device, a camera changeover system and a method for camera changeover that enable efficient searching of a suspicious person detected by at least one of a plurality of cameras.
The device comprises 6 (six) cameras 3-1 to 3-6, estimates the amount of travel of a suspicious person based on the difference of time between the start time and the finish time of a collation processing for faces of persons obtained by shooting with at least one camera 3-X of the cameras 3-1 to 3-6, and switches to at least one camera 3-X capturing a place where the suspicious person is assumed to be located, based on the estimated amount of travel. This achieves efficient searching of a suspicious person after detection thereof.
