To provide a camera device with a rotation base capable of obtaining a pseudo endless video even if a movable range is limited at mechanical ends and less than 360 degrees.
A camera device with a rotation base comprises: a camera which is provided with a rotation base rotatable in a mechanically limited movable range of 0-350 degrees and a zoom lens, and can rotate with the rotation of the rotation base; a zoom lens control unit for controlling the zoom lens to make the zoom magnification wide-angle when the rotation base reaches the left mechanical end; a digital zoom control unit for generating a pseudo rotation video by, when the rotation base reaches the left mechanical end, performing digital zooming for an image obtained by the camera in which the zoom magnification is controlled by the zoom lens control unit, and moving the cutout position by the digital zooming to the left direction in the obtained image; and a rotation base control unit for rotating the rotation base clockwise toward the right mechanical end at a predetermined timing after the rotation base reaches the left mechanical end.
