Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a camera which does not previously emit light when the light need not be previously emitted even through a red-eye reducing function is selected as to the camera having previous light emitting function for reducing red-eye.

CONSTITUTION: The camera is provided with an autofocusing function, and a forced infinite function forcibly positioning a lens on a position where the lens is focused on an object existing farther than an object distance on which the lens is focused when the lens is focused an a lens position corresponding to an object position at infinity by means of autofocusing; and the red-eye reducing function is which strobe light is previously emitted preceding to the exposure in order to reduce the red-eye phenomenon is selected at the time of photographing with strobe light and further when the forced infinite function is selected, the light is inhibited from being previously emitted even through the red-eye reducing function is selected in this camera.
