Abstract:
To provide a camera, an image retrieval system, and an image retrieving method that can easily retrieve what a photographed subject is by taking information on the size of the subject etc., into consideration whatever shape the photographed subject has.
An MPU 41 decides a theme of an image photographed by the camera and the size of a main subject in the image. Information on the decision is recorded in a database 56a for image retrieval while related to the image.
