A lens unit 50, in which a photographic optical system 60 is incorporated in a lens barrel 48, is held by a second frame 32. First and second actuators 22 and 34 are driven based on a displacement signal obtained from a gyro IC 11, and the second frame 32 is moved in a plane perpendicular to a photographing optical axis P to perform camera shake correction. A shutter unit 55 including a shutter actuator 57 and a shutter blade 58 is coupled with the second frame 32 so as to be located on a front surface of the lens unit 50. By driving the first and second actuators 22 and 34, the shutter unit 55 and the lens unit 50 are moved in the plane perpendicular to the photographing optical axis P together with the second frame 32 to perform the camera shake correction.
