To provide a high image-quality and auto-focusing compact camera module that prevents shading caused by thermal noise.
A camera module 101 comprises: an image sensor chip (solid-state imaging apparatus) 110 including a pixel unit 10a configured by arraying pixels for photoelectric conversion in a two-dimensional manner; an optical lens 213 for forming an image of light in the pixel unit 10a; and an actuator 211 for driving the optical lens. The image sensor chip 110 incorporates a plurality of drivers 11-14 each for supplying a driving current to the actuator 211. The plurality of drivers 11-14 are disposed in a distributed manner in four directions in areas surrounding the pixel unit on a sensor chip substrate 110a constituting the image sensor chip.
