To solve the problem that image (video) information unintended by a user is taken in by a camera module, and to meet the demand for significantly reduced thickness of portable and other electronic devices.SOLUTION: A camera module with a blade drive unit provided herein comprises: a camera module having an image capturing unit mounted on a circuit board and a lens unit disposed on the image capturing unit; a housing unit disposed on the circuit board and configured to house a protruded potion on the circuit board of the camera module; and blades for opening or closing the field of view of the lens unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
