In a camera body 101 to which an interchangeable lens 201 comprising an electrically-driven zoom lens 204 and a zoom lens operation button 206 consisting of a lens telephoto button 207T and a lens wide-angle button 207W can be attached and which is provided with a body zooming operation button 109 from a body telephoto button 110T and a body wide-angle button 110W, a control function is provided which allocates electric zooming operation of the zoom lens 204 to one of the body zooming operation button 109 and the zoom lens operation button 206 and allocates a function other than the zooming operation to the other. A camera having this control function is provided.
