Title:
CAMERA SYSTEM HAVING STROBE LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003195386
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve errors in exposure caused by the difference of the reflectance of used film, to change a frame after deciding the exposure, and further to improve overexposure at the time of short-distance photographing, and also to realize the simplification of control associated with the metering of reflected light, the improvement of mounting efficiency associated with the miniaturization of parts and the reduction of cost in the strobe light control of a camera system.

In the case of light emission by a built-in stroboscope 9 or an external stroboscope 10, light pre-emission is performed after depressing a release button before operating a main mirror 4, and reflected light therefrom is metered by using a photodetector performing photoelectric conversion such as a photodiode or a phototransistor provided in a camera 14 separately from an AE sensor 8 as an element for metering strobe light 13, and then main light emission control is performed.
