Abstract:
To provide a camera system that can perform optimal gradation compression processing according to an imaging mode.SOLUTION: A camera system comprises: an imaging system that picks up an image of a subject to generate an image signal, performs gradation compression processing on the image signal based on two or more input-output conversion parameters, and having imaging system control means that sets the input-output conversion parameter; and an image processing system that acquires an image from the imaging system in two or more imaging modes. The control means of the imaging system sets the input-output conversion parameter to gradation compression means based on the imaging mode in the image processing system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
