Abstract:
To provide a camera system for visual recognition around a vehicle that can display a high-quality moving image without loss of immediacy even in a light beam condition where blooming occurs without using an expensive CPU.SOLUTION: In a camera 3 including a lens 5, a variable modulated light device 6, and an imaging device 7, the variable modulated light device 6 can form an optical density distribution in the vertical direction, and exposure adjustment is performed for a portion corresponding to a strong light source causing blooming by adjusting the relative position of the imaging device 7 and the variable modulation light device 6 by first moving means 14 for moving the imaging device 7 in a plane orthogonal to the optical axis 5a of the lens 5 and second moving means 16 for shifting the variable modulation light device 6 vertically in a plane orthogonal to the optical axis 5a of the lens 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
