Abstract:
To suppress the consumption of a battery when a release action is executed without loading a film.
This camera is provided with a light control means 101 controlling the quantity of light emitted from a flash means 100 so that exposure with respect to a recording medium by object light becomes proper, a power source 107 supplying electric power to the control means 101, a film detection means 103 detecting whether the recording medium is loaded or not and a control means 106 controlling the power source 107 based on the detected result of the detection means 103.
