Abstract:

To enable imprinting information with high density while avoiding a camera itself from becoming large in size.

As for the camera with an information adding function of imprinting the information on a photographic film 1, the camera is provided with a semiconductor laser array 2 which is arranged facing the photographic film 1 and to which many semiconductor lasers 3 are put in order, and a drive controlling means 4 for controlling the drive of the semiconductor laser array 2 in accordance with the imprinting information while relatively moving the photographic film 1 and the semiconductor laser array 2, and beams emitted from the semiconductor laser 3 based on the imprinting information is guided to the information imprinting area 5 of the photographic film 1.
