Abstract:

PURPOSE: To drive the photographic lens separately from zoom driving by providing the camera with a fast driving operation part, increasing the number of circuits which is transmitted to the photographic lens, and moving the photographic lens to a specific position.

CONSTITUTION: A zoom switch part 6a and a fast driving switch part 6b as the fast driving operation part are arranged at the rear upper part of a camera main body. Then when the switch of the fast driving switch part 6b is pressed in, the number of turns of the motor is increased by increasing a current supplied to the driving motor for the photographic lens or varying the duty ratio of a pulse waveform supplied to the motor, and thus increasing the duty ratio. Consequently, the photographic lens is driven at a high speed.
