To provide a camera that continuously performs imaging by a camera using a power feeding device for a portable telephone (portable device) which is generally very easy to obtain and can substitutely use the power feeding device for a tripod.

This camera is provided with a battery 22 for an electronic camera 10, a compound terminal 20 which is a terminal for feeding operation power from the outside and is provided with a terminal shape being the same as that of a terminal for power feeding provided in a portable telephone (portable device), and a power source switching means 25 for using power fed from a power feeding device 30 for a portable telephone (portable device) in the electronic camera 10 in the place of the battery 22 being the operation power source of the electronic camera 10 if the power feeding device 30 for a portable telephone (portable device) is connected to the compound terminal 20, and can therefore utilize the power feeding device 30 for a portable telephone (portable device) that is generally very easy to obtain in the electronic camera 10.
