Title:
CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012118155
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a camera capable of performing a focus adjustment operation accurately even during the photographing of a moving image while controlling the focus lens with a constant amount of movement.

The camera according to the invention comprises: a photographing optical system; an imager disposed on the surface of the photographing optical system, on which an image is to be formed; imager moving means for moving the imager in the optical axis direction of the photographing optical system; focus lens moving means for moving a focus lens composing the photographing optical system; and control means. The imager moving means moves in combination the first moving operation in which the imager is moved in the optical axis direction so as to cross a reference position in a first period and a second moving operation in which the imager is moved and inverted in the optical axis direction with respect to the reference position in a second period lower than the first period, thereby returning the imager to the reference position. The focus lens moving means moves the focus lens in a stepwise manner in a second period. The control means synchronizes the period of the second moving operation of the imager performed by the imager moving means and the period of the stepwise movement of the focus lens by the focus lens moving means.
