Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time until a main light emission is fired in a multiflash photography.SOLUTION: A camera 30 comprises: a light emission command unit that transmits a preparation light emission command before a main light emission is fired and a main light emission command for the main light emission to a plurality of light emission devices 20 (20A to 20D); a determination unit that determines whether or not the preparation light emission is appropriate for each light emission device 20 (20A to 20D) before the main light emission is fired; and a control unit that controls the light emission command unit so as to further transmit the preparation light emission command to the light emission device subjected to a non-appropriateness determination by the determination unit. The light emission command unit transmits a first round of the preparation light emission command to all of the light emission devices 20 (20A to 20D), and then, transmits a plurality of rounds of the preparation light emission command to the light emission device subjected to the non-appropriateness determination by the determination unit.
