Title:
CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01289926
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of contacts for signal transmission by providing a charging inhibiting means which prevents energy from being accumulated in a capacitor throughout exposure control operation and a voltage applying means which generates a potential difference for the operation detection of a synchronous switch between both ends of the synchronous switch.

CONSTITUTION: The timing of the transmission of a charging control signal is up to the start of the exposure control operation and the timing of the transmission of a light emission start signal, on the other hand, is in the exposure control operation, so both signals are completely different in transmission timing. Consequently, one contact is used as both contacts 104 and 704 for transmitting both signals. Then, while the contact is used in common, the charging inhibiting means 710 performs charging control over the capacity for light emission energy storage of a flash device through the operation of the synchronous switch throughout the exposure control operation and the voltage applying means 710 detects the operation of the synchronous switch.
