PURPOSE: To make a body compact by allowing the longitudinal direction of a dry cell to be along a film feeding direction and housing the dry cell at the position spreading below a light shielding cylinder and a film chamber.

CONSTITUTION: A film unit with a lens is provided with a cartridge room 27 housing a cartridge and a film housing chamber 30 housing the film so as to hold an aperture 29 deciding the exposing range of the film therebetween. The aperture 29 is formed on rear edge surface of a light shielding dark cylinder 31 guiding the light entering from a photographic lens to a film surface. The dry cell 32 is arranged so as to spread below the light shielding cylinder 31 and the film housing room 30. A size adding the width sizes of the aperture 29 and the film housing chamber 30 is made equal to the size adding the width sizes of the dry cell 32 and metallic armatures connecting the dry cell 32 to a stroboscopic circuit. Thus, the width direction of the film unit with the lens can be miniaturized.
