PURPOSE: To execute the operation of an operating member even when a movable light shielding window is not closed in a state where it is still opened because of some trouble, and to forcibly take out a film cartridge from a camera.

CONSTITUTION: This camera is provided with follower members 9, 10 and 11 following the movement of the movable light shielding window 104 of the film cartridge 101 driven by a driving means 15, and locking members 7c and 9b to which motive power is transmitted by the members 9 to 11 and which makes the operation of the operating member 7 in a non-actuated state when the window 104 is opened. Then, it is also provided with a locking release means 8 releasing the non-actuated state of the operating member by the members 7c and 9b regardless of the actuation of the window 104, and the locking members 7c and 9b are arranged on the follower member side following the movement of the window 104, then the non-actuated state of the member 7 is released by the release means 8 so as to freely perform the operation of the member 7.
