Abstract:

To eliminate a failure picture such as exposure fogging or double exposure and to smooth a printing stage by free winding-up film by a feeding device and recording free winding-up information at the position of an idly fed film frame by an information recorder.

When a BPSW being the opening/closing switch of the film chamber of this camera is in an input standby state and a state where the film chamber is opened is detected, a subroutine of film halfway opening is executed. In order to check the present residual of the film, the number of frames is compared with the specified number. When it is equal to or under the specified number, it shows a state where the film is exposed. so that a photographer is urged to close the film chamber by a warning sound or warning display. When the photographer is aware of the warning and closes the film chamber, the frames which are though to be exposed in the film chamber are free wound-up and the information is magnetically recorded at a magnetic storage part 20d on the film by a magnetic head 40 in the midst of free winding-up.
