To display information on FE (emitted light quantity of a flash) and an FE lock state without providing a dedicated FE lock display part and to reduce display space within a finder by inverting the bright and the dark display of a display means when the emitted light quantity of a flash is decided (FE lock) by an emitted light quantity decision means.
The photographing information of the camera such as shutter speed, a diaphragm control value and light control correction quantity is displayed on liquid crystal panels 12 and 14 on the inside and the outside of the finder by a liquid crystal display circuit 3. The circuit 3 performs serial communication with a microcomputer 1, and liquid crystal display is performed according to the contents of the communication. When the camera is not in the FE lock state, a non-inverting command on the display of the light control correction quantity is transmitted to the circuit 3. At such a time, the part of the panel 14 on the inside of the finder where the light control correction quantity is displayed is in a bright display state similarly to the case of other information. Meanwhile, when the camera is in the FE lock state, an inverting command on the display of the light control correction quantity is transmitted to the circuit 3. At such a time, the part where the light control correction quantity is displayed is in a dark display state differently from the case of other information.
