PURPOSE: To omit an unnecessary operation by providing a means, which outputs a read signal of data on a film vessel when a rear cover is closed, and a means which erases the read signal when the read is completed and performing the read operation only when the rear cover is closed.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch RCS is opened by closing the rear cover, an FF RF1 is set, and an interrupt signal is inputted to a terminal itB. Then, data on the film vessel is read into an input/output register IOR in a microcomputer MCB by the operation of a circuit SCA, and its contents are set to a register CAR. It is discriminated whether data is added to the vessel or not on a basis of the state of bits of the register CAR, and data on the film vessel or manual set data is sent to a display circuit DPC. Simultaneously, the FF RF1 is reset, and the interrupt to the terminal itB is permitted.
