Abstract:
To provide a camshaft system which can adjust both a lift and a timing of a valve.
This camshaft system has a shaft 210, and a plurality of cams 220 integrated with the shaft 210 with specified clearances. It also has followings. A camshaft arranged on one side of the shaft has a first gear member 212 formed with a plurality of teeth. A motor 300 enables linear reciprocation of the camshaft by arranging a second gear member formed with a plurality of teeth, to be meshed with the teeth of the first gear member on one side of the camshaft, and rotating it.
