Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can-biting device so designed that a plurality of cylindrical-can products containing various kinds of drinks are taken out of a corrugated board case all at once and they can be put into an automatic vending machine as it is.
SOLUTION: The device comprises a substrate 6 in which a brace-shaped upper handle 4 is erected in the middle of its top face in its longitudinal direction, a hinge 3 is attached to its one side-edge, a male screw is erected upward near its other side- edge and in the middle of it, and rectangular tongue pieces 10 and 10a are provided, one piece in the middle of each end-edge in its lateral direction. The device further comprises an L-shaped biting plate 1 with a strip-shaped notch groove 7 made in the middle of its top plate in its lateral direction, and an L-shaped biting plate 2 in which other brace-shaped lower handle 5 is parallelly erected right near and below the upper handle 4 along the side-edge in the longitudinal direction of its top plate and which is pivotally attached to the substrate via the hinge 3. The device is composed so that the top plates 12 and 12a of both the L-shaped biting plates are partly superimposed on the substrate to form an inverted U. Further, netlike rubber sheets are stuck to the faces of the insides of the opposite side-plates 13 and 13a of the L-shaped binding plates. By gripping both the handles at the same time, a plurality of cans can be moved all at once while kept bitten together.
