To provide polyester/acrylic can coating materials which are bisphenol A-free heat-curable coating materials and remarkably reduced in the amount of the coating components eluted, and coated cans and coated can caps which use such can coating materials.
Heat-curable can coating materials contain (A) a thermoplastic polyester resin having an acid value of not higher than 30 and a hydroxyl number of not higher than 40 and (B) a heat-curable acrylic resin at a weight ratio of component (A) to component (B) of 90:10 to 40:60. The thermoplastic polyester resin (A) preferably has a number average molecular weight of not smaller than 7,000, and the heat-curable acrylic resin (B) preferably has a number average molecular weight of not smaller than 2,000.
