Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform instrumentation more accurately in a shorter time than by human hands by inserting a flange part into a guide groove and detecting ends, and rotating a container body so as to measure flange wall thickness continuously. CONSTITUTION:A mark 11 to be a measure reference is applied to the required place of a flange part 2. A mark detecting device 12 is provided in a guide groove 7 on the entrance side of a sensor protecting member 6 so as to measure flange wall thickness at each point of the circumference divided into several equal parts from the mark detecting position. The instrumentation is performed by rotating a container body 1 by one circle in the direction of an arrow mark by the contact of a driving roller 8. With this rotation, the flange part 2 is moved from one guide groove 7 into the other guide groove 7, passing between detecting ends 4, 4, and the wall thickness is detected between the detecting ends. A pair of detecting ends 4, 4 move vertically according to the wall thickness of the flange part 2, and the fluctuation quantity is converted into electric signals by a displacement sensor 3, further computed and recorded as the numeric value. The one with the wall thickness at the measuring point being out of the allowed measure range is then eliminated as an out-of-spec item.
