Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a canard paraglider and a double wing type paraglider which have flying stability and gliding stability, by a method wherein a bagform auxiliary wing formed with a vertical wing and a horizontal wing connected to a main wing is mounted. CONSTITUTION:When a harness 25 is mounted and a carnard glider 20 is pointed in the direction of wind, air is introduced to form an auxiliary wing 28 and a main wing 23 on the whole. When a rope is tied to the harness 25 and pulled or the tip of a rope having a given length is fixed and the auxiliary wing 28 is first sent up, the main wing 23 is lifted up by means of the auxiliary wing 28 serving as a guide, and landing-off is extremely facilitated. Further, when the main wing 23 is exposed to wind, the main wing 23 is raised by the theory of a kite, and the tip of the main wing 23 is blocked. Since the main wing is formed in a streamline shape on the whole, a lift is increased due to a decrease in wind resistance. When a rope connected to the harness 25 is untied, the canard glider 20 is glided, and since a horizontal wing 27 and a vertical wing 26 are attached in addition to the main wing 23, flying stability and gliding stability can be improved.
