Abstract:
To provide a canard spoiler capable of improving aerodynamic performance without impairing pedestrian protecting abilities.SOLUTION: A canard spoiler 1 comprises a fin 10 to be attached to an end of a vehicle body outer plate 2 in a vehicle width direction, the vehicle body outer plate being curved so that a central part thereof in the vehicle width direction has a convex shape toward the front while extending along the vehicle width direction in a front part of a vehicle. The fin 10 is formed so as to project forward from an outer surface of the vehicle body outer plate 2, and is formed of a soft material softer than a material of the vehicle body outer plate 2. The shore A hardness of the soft material for forming the fin 10 is 30-90. The canard spoiler 1 comprises a reinforcement member 20 formed of a harder material than the material of the fin 10 for supporting the fin 10 in the rear of a position located backward from the tip of the fin 10 by a prescribed distance X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
