To provide a canned motor pump system whose pump can continuously be operated and a heat transfer device equipped with the system.
The canned motor pump system 1 comprises a canned motor pump 10, a cooling pipe 29 for conducting a part of a liquid Sw delivered from the canned motor pump 10 to the motor 13m of the canned motor pump 10, and a collection container 20 disposed to the cooling pipe 29. The collection container 20 has a larger flow path cross-section than that of the cooling pipe 29, and is disposed so that its bottom surface is at a lower level than the bottom of the cooling pipe 29B connected downstream of the collection container 20. Thereby, foreign matters can be trapped by the collection container 20. Accordingly, the foreign matters can be avoided from entering a gap between a rotor 13r and a stator 13s to lock the rotor 13r. This results in continued operation of the pump. In the heat transfer device, the canned motor pump system 1 transfers an absorption solution and/or a coolant solution with an absorption refrigerator or a heat pump.
