Abstract:

To provide a candy which has the same actions as those of underground water, such as hot spring water, having been drunk and can resist to storage for a long period, without going to a hot spring, and to provide a method for producing the candy.

This candy is produced by mixing starch syrup with underground water in a hot spring, a cold spring, or the like, and then boiling the mixture to evaporate water. The ratio of the amount of the starch syrup to the amount of the underground water is 1:0.3 to 1:1. The mixture for the candy is boiled to evaporate approximately all of water contained in the groundwater.
