Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a canned motor pump wherein high speed driving becomes possible by making the gas-liquid mixed state through a process of effectively vaporizing fluid in a rotor chamber and increasing motor efficiency in order to decrease the rotational resistance caused by fluid agitation in a rotor in a canned motor portion.
CONSTITUTION: Bearings 30, 32 are provided on both ends of a canned motor portion 12 so as to rotatably support a rotor shaft 24, and a liquid introducing parts for introducing a part of pump handling liquid are so provided so as to be faced to the outside ends of respective bearings, so that liquid to be introduced from liquid passages 46, 48 as liquid introducing parts may be filled in the clearance between rotor chambers 34, 36 and between a rotor 28 and a stator 26 while performing lublication for respective bearings. Moreover liquid passages 62, 64 as liquid discharging parts for discharging liquid filled in the rotor chambers are provided on both ends of the canned motor position, so as to keep the clearance between the rotor and the stator into the gas-liquid mixed state in driving of the pump.
