To solve the problem that a string for fixing a tracheotomy tube (cannula) to a neck can not be easily detached, fastens the neck too tightly when tightly fastened since the string is not elastic, and the tracheotomy tube easily comes off when the string is loosely fastened.

The string for fixing is obtained as follows. A band A is formed by sewing the four piles of a base material such as gauze or cotton. The recessed parts B, B' of a hook and loop fastener are attached to both the ends of the band. The projected parts C, C' of the hook and loop fastener attached to both the ends of the band are put through holes F, F' at both the sides of the tracheotomy tube (cannula) so as to be fitted to the recessed parts B, B'. Consequently, detachment is easily performed and a length is adjustable. Elasticity is also obtained by sewing rubber string D onto the center part of the band.
